Losing a pet is one of life’s most profound and emotional moments. At R7 Studio, I offer Pet Celebration of Life photography that honors your unique bond with your beloved companion. My documentary-style approach captures authentic, heartfelt moments that reflect your pet’s spirit and the love that will forever live between you.
The Experience
With deep compassion and sensitivity, I document these final chapters discreetly, focusing on the quiet interactions and gentle emotions that tell your story. Each session is designed to reflect the essence of your relationship, whether through a favorite walk, cherished playtime, or a moment of stillness together. These sessions are unrushed and centered around the love you share, creating images that serve as a lasting tribute to the life and joy your pet has brought.
What’s Included
A Pet Celebration of Life session with R7 Studio includes:
- A photography session in your pet’s most cherished environment, whether it’s your home, a favorite park, or another meaningful location. Depending on your needs, the duration can vary from 1-2 hours.
- An online gallery with 20-30* high-resolution, professionally edited images that tell the whole story of your connection. You can easily view and download them.
- A private online gallery where you can revisit and share your images with family and friends.
- Optional: for an additional fee, you can request a slideshow with music, blended photos, and recorded audio. This feature transforms the images into a beautiful, moving tribute (delivered as an MP4 file) that can be shared with others.

What do celebration of life photo sessions look like?
When it comes to our furry companions, celebration of life photography can include:
- Highlighting the special bond between pet and family
- Documenting favorite activities, toys/playtime, or spots in the house (or neighborhood)
- Showcasing the pet's unique personality traits
- Recording cuddles and tender moments
How does it work?
After your initial inquiry:
1) We’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your pet's unique story and identify the location for the photo session.
2) On the day of the session, I use my documentary-style photography to preserve authentic, heartfelt moments.
3) Afterward, you’ll receive a curated selection of professionally edited images in an online gallery, ready for you to download, share, and print.
Do you travel?
Yes! I am based in the Sacramento Valley and serve families across northern California. I will drive within 30-minutes at no cost. If further travel is needed, it is $1 per mile plus tolls.
